I received this Hoover U5140-900 Tempo Widepath Bagged Upright Vacuum this past Thursday evening and promptly put it to work. We have a 3,265 square foot house, 6 cats, and 2 dogs. All you need is ONE PASS over an area and the fur is picked up. This machine is lightweight and hardworking. The onboard tools are handy and efficient. I had 2 Hoover Soft and Lights prior to this one and I thought nothing would ever compare to them. The hose and brush attachment is fantastic on stair backs and on wood and linoleum flooring. It’s a whiz on furniture also. This vacuum cleaner is easy to maneuver and has a pretty low profile for doing under the bed. We used it post-Christmas tree decorating and it completely picked up every needle and twig (and a few pieces of glass from a broken ornament). What’s better is the price. If you are looking for a POWERFUL vacuum cleaner, this is the one for you. It’s got a bag so it never loses suction, bag changing is fast and dirt-free – no filter to mess with or dirt from a cup flying everywhere. Don’t be fooled by the price, more expensive units are NOT necessarily better. I’ve got a commercial series that my husband paid almost $600 for and it sits in the closet (soon to be sold). I HIGHLY recommend this vacuum cleaner to anybody.
